Who knows where the wood is from or what it has seen on its travels in the ocean, it could be part of an old boat or maybe a container on a ship.
A real decorators piece that has an aged look about it, perfect for putting towels on in the bathroom, a foot stool or a bedside table.
Ive used traditional woodworking joints to make this little stool and given it a coat of wax to help protect it. I think it would look good in a cottage or old house maybe in the bathroom of just for decoration in the living room.
size is about 20 inches long by 6 inches wide and stands 9 inches high.
